A Very Short Doc on Screenlife
Screenlife is a distinct and powerful new genre that allows you to reveal what’s usually hidden — the private consciousness. Your computer or phone can say a lot about you and we get to know the protagonist better looking at how desktop folders are arranged, the way the cursor moves, or by the choice of browser and messenger. For a new generation, life on the screen is not simply a metaphor. There are fears, dramas, rules, and myths created by us: the screen is an extension of ourselves. It’s more important than ever to remember that the way we communicate changes our perception and influences the message itself. As Marshall McLuhan says «The medium is the message». After all — the experience of interacting with interfaces is one we all share regardless of wealth, status, political stance, religion, or gender.
