Bazelevs Ranked Among the Most Innovative Companies in the World Thanks to Screenlife
Timur Bekmambetov’s Bazelevs film company ranked seventh in the list of the most innovative companies in the world in the Video category according to Fast Company — all thanks to the success of the screenlife format.
The category is topped by Apple with its Apple TV Plus streaming platform. Bazelevs was included in the list among others for “creating a way to make content safely”.
In 2020, Bazelevs signed a five-film deal with Universal Studios. In early 2021, a new screenlife adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet premiered at Sundance. iBible mini-series, which will show how the events of the Old Testament would unfold if a smartphone with social networks and various applications became the main tool for creating the world, will premiere at SXSW.
