Truth, Lies, and Coronavirus: “Tales from the Quarantine” Contest Finalist
On June 11, Screenlife Fest hosted the premiere of the “Tales from the Quarantine” movie almanac, which consists of seven short films shot by young filmmakers with the support of Bazelevs film production company.
Today we present you one of the contest’s winners — a short documentary film “Truth, Lies and Coronavirus”, shot by the production team “D”.
The film tells about the crazy conspiracy theories surrounding the coronavirus pandemic. The heroine of the film conducts her investigation and understands the flow of information chaos, yet she is fascinated by all these stories.
This story shows that any news, falling into fertile media ground, is transformed and is surrounded by various conspiracy details.
