Screenlife is truly contemporary, with a unique cultural importance since today history is often created on the screens of various devices. Just a handful of characters after a hashtag symbol are able to change the game – #metoo and #gamergate, to name just two prominent examples. The US elections, Facebook’s personal data leak, manipulations with algorithms and current political agenda, hacking diplomatic emails and whistleblowing, the public image of authority figures, their private and public communications, even the way we see and react these things: it all happens on screens.
